My sister just called to tell me she also did a blog post about our dad...including the story about a concert he took us to that was our first.

The whole thing brought tears to my eyes. Nicely done Sue!

I made a post about that, or more appropriately a tribute.

Collin, thank you so much for sharing your story with us about your dad! It's great to have a dad who believes in you because it helps you believe in yourself.

I am 9 years old. I love baseball. I play on a team and my Dad is my head coach. A couple of months ago my Dad and I were on our way to baseball practice and my Dad asked me if I wanted to play catcher. I said “NAH” but then at the end I said “Sure, I’ll try catching.” He put me into catch and I really liked playing that position. He said I looked like an all-star on the field. A couple days later we went to Dick’s Sporting Goods and he bought me my own catching gear (with a hockey style mask, chest protector and two shin guards). And that is my story of how my Dad always believes in me.
