I can’t remember any games, but I do still have a teddy bear
tucked away in a box that my mom bought for me there.
Car Bingo sounds fun!

Melissa, you too, huh? My favorite game my parents
bought for my sister and me at a Hen House gift
shop was Car Bingo. It came with cardboard slabs
with little plastic slides. When you saw a “cow”, you
could close a slide on that image. First one to get
5 in a row wins! That would keep us occupied for
hours which was good, since our trip to grandma’s
house in Missouri from Lincoln, Illinois was around
4 hours! Do you remember a game or toy you got at
the gift shop?

Thanks for bringing back some fond memories. It was
always a treat to pull of the highway and have dinner at
The Hen House!
