I was just thinking about how some of my friends took out auto loans upwards of $30,000 for a fancy car. With a $19.38 hourly wage that would equate to nearly thirty nine forty-hour work weeks. Considering the interest on the loan, net income, and the secondary costs of ownership I am sure it would easily take over a year to pay for. It boggles my mind that someone would be willing to sacrifice a year of their life working for an automobile. Great Post.
