The Big Shot

A young man had just started his own business. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques. A short time later, he noticed a man come into the outer office.

Wishing to appear like a big shot, the young man picked up the phone and started pretending that he was making a huge sale. He threw around huge figures and made giant commitments.

Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, “Can I help you?” The man said, “Yeah, I’m here to activate your phone lines.”
