It Takes Four Eyes to See Your Future
We’ve heard it over and over again: “Hindsight is twenty–twenty.”
So if that’s the case, what is foresight?
We can only conclude that foresight must require four eyes.

Well, George, if your remember, we’re not talking about four “eyes”. We’re saying – to see the future of your dreams – you need four “I’s”.
___
Bigg success is life on your own terms. It’s about entrepreneuring your life.
You may or may not want to be an entrepreneur in the traditional sense of the word. However, you are the entrepreneur of an incredibly important enterprise – your life.
Entrepreneurs understand that the future can’t be predicted. So they don’t seek to do so. Instead, they create it with these four I’s:
Innovation
At first we thought Imagination should be the first “I”. Imagination is certainly important. Research shows that we begin losing our creativity by the time we’re done with the first grade. Imagination stems from creativity, a critical skill in today’s world.
It’s especially important if you’re going to entrepreneur your life. You have to rediscover your creativity.
So imagine without constraint. Don’t think about money. Don’t think about time. Remove the limitations you often place upon yourself. Imagine the world you plan to create. This helps you set your direction.
But imagination alone isn’t enough. Imagination has to take you somewhere. The intangible must become tangible.
You do that by applying your imagination to a real-world problem.
Innovation then is applied imagination.
When we think of innovation, our mind often envisions revolutionary advances. It’s not the case. You may see a need in your neighborhood that you can meet. That’s innovation!
Initiative
You may have the greatest innovation in the history of the world. It won’t do you – or anybody else – any good unless you act upon it.
This is where a lot of people run into a wall. Fear overtakes enthusiasm. Fear of failure. Fear of embarrassment. Even fear of success.
Entrepreneurs have their own fear – the fear of not trying.
Ask yourself, “What’s the worst that can happen if I do this?”
Now ask yourself, “What’s the worst that can happen if I don’t do this?”
With the right Innovation, you’ll likely find you’re taking more risk by not acting.
So act! Do something! Now!
How many times do you need to say when you see the latest, greatest new thing: “I had that idea years ago.”

Ingenuity
As the entrepreneur of your life, you are in control. However, you can’t control everything. There is one thing that is certain about the future: there will be surprises.
That’s why entrepreneurs don’t try to predict it. When the inevitable surprises occur, you have to be resourceful.
Think about the resources you already have – your talents, your expertise. Think about your network and the resources available through it. Think about resources you can easily obtain.
There is at least one good solution for every challenge you will face. It’s up to you to find the one thing that will work for you this one time.
Because if it works for you, it works. That’s life on your own terms!
Endurance

Ingenuity is certainly part of endurance. However, endurance goes beyond that.
Endurance has to do with something deep down inside you. You have to find a way to keep going no matter what.
It doesn’t mean you don’t change your tactics. If you run into the same wall again and again and again, you may have to change your course. But you still keep pushing in spite of the odds.
And if you do that – if you keep going long enough, if you reach deep down inside yourself and proceed with resolution – you will reach bigg success!
