Is There Room for God in BIGG Success?

Is there room for God in your definition of success | BIGG SuccessBIGG success is life on your own terms. We were talking with a friend recently who asked an interesting question…

Is there room for God in our definition of BIGG success?

She said she strives to live on God’s terms. She seeks to understand God’s will for her life and live accordingly.

So did we get it wrong?

Did we unknowingly exclude God from our definition of BIGG success?

We don’t think so.

Did we accidentally exclude a whole segment of people who feel just like our friend?

We hope not. It certainly wasn’t our intention.

You choose your life

We don’t think the two are mutually exclusive. The point to our definition of BIGG success – life on your own terms – is that you, and you alone, make choices about how you live your life.

Your choices, along with the actions you take in line with those choices, largely determine whether or not you will be a BIGG success.

We believe that God leaves the choice up to you. Our friend has done that.

She is living her life on her own terms. She chooses terms that coincide with God’s terms. She is a BIGG success!

Now, don’t take this discussion as us trying to proselytize you. As we said, it’s your choice.

The paradox of your choices

Your choices are made individually. But they are usually not individual choices.

Sure, they all affect you. They affect your outcomes. They affect whether or not you will be a BIGG success.

But, in many cases, they also affect other people.

The BIGG idea behind BIGG success is synergy.

BIGG success comes when you improve the lives of other people. In doing so, you’ll reap the rewards yourself.

That’s win-win. That’s BIGG success!

Our plans for our life and God’s plans for our life are always different. When we take God out of our plans/life then the Devil slips in and our success turns into a living nightmare; look at alot of the stars (famous people) etc. When we follow God’s plan for our life, his word promises we will have an abundant life, success doesn’t always mean MONEY which many people assume.

Shannon, we agree wholeheartedly that success does not necessarily mean money. We disagree, however, that our plans are always different from God’s. For us anyway, it’s about alignment – finding what God wants for us to be a BIGG success. The two go hand-in-hand. That’s why we found the comment from our friend so interesting. With all that said, life on your own terms is just that. It’s up to each person to decide. We don’t feel it’s our place to judge. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
