A wasted now is not a now wasted.

You’ll be happier if you don’t do anything now.
So be happy now.

Commune now with a power greater than yourself.

We know…there are problems that need to be solved.

Let them go now.

You need a break now.
Slow down now.
Relax now.

Give yourself a time out now.
Get in touch now with your child-like nature.
Imagine a better time and place now.
Get in touch with your future now.

Burn now.
Give yourself permission now.
Now is the time to do nothing!

For me, this was the single most difficult part of learning to be a disciplined, self-employed, business person. First, I had the influence of father with a strong work ethic, which can quickly turn into “work-aholicism”. Second, when there is no cap on your earnings, as is generally the case when you are an employee, the temptation to make money is a strong motivator to work all the time. Learning to “burn” a day without guilt is still a work in progress for me, but I am certain that making time for friends, loved ones, your community, and yourself, is essential to a balanced life. Thanks for the reminder!

Marjorie…we know how hard you work. You truly are a BIGG Success. It really is amazing how much more we can accomplish by backing off from work from time to time. Those who give must take time to replenish. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
